About Us

Dr. Shapiro has been a leading provider of cardiac care in Cumberland County for nearly 15 years. He is double board certified by the American Osteopathic Board of Internal Medicine in Internal Medicine and in Cardiology. His education includes a fellowship in cardiology at the Graduate Hospital in Philadelphia and residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. Dr. Shapiro is currently a member of the Physician’s Advisory Board, the Chairman of the System Critical Care Committee for South Jersey Healthcare Regional Medical Center and serves on the board of directors for Beth Israel Synagogue in Vineland. Other organizations include: Fellow of the American College of Cardiology, Fellow of the American College of Osteopathic Internists, Member of American Society of Echocardiography, and American Society of Nuclear Cardiology with NRC Certification. Dr. Shapiro also spent several years as Chairman of the Department of Cardiology at Millville Hospital.

Jill K. Tyler, Nurse Practitioner

Ms. Tyler is a licensed Registered Professional Nurse with over 16 years of experience. Previously she worked as a staff and relief charge nurse in Bridgeton Hospital’s Intensive Care Unit and has been certified in Advanced Life Support (ACLS) through the American Heart Association. Ms. Tyler is a member of the American Association of Critical Care Nurses, the New Jersey State Nurses Association and Sigma Theta Tau International, the Honor Society for Nursing. She recently became an associate member of the American College of Cardiology.
